NEED A FRIZZ FIX|HAIR CONTROL ON THE GO.

A good friend of mine is always saying she needs a quick frizz fix for her long hair. As she puts it ” I’m in the office and get a call to go out to a meeting and of course I want to look great. But low and behold when I glance in the mirror the damn frizz strands are already showing on the top of my head”.

Now a lot of women’s re action to seeing these fly away hairs. Is to pop to the bathroom and try and smooth them down with a little tap water before they venture out. I am sure a lot of you will smile knowingly. Unfortunately this does not solve the problem and in fact only tends to make matters worse.

Hair slowly yellowing or turning brassy can happen because of many things. But tends to be a big bugbear for most women who have light blonde hair. Unfortunately even more so when living in somewhere like Singapore with its hot tropical climate. Our life style of being in and out of air conditioning and getting hot and sticky means frequent shampooing. Which does not work in harmony with keeping one’s tone in very blonde hair.

A lot of the time to achieve a high lift blonde on your hair your stylist will bleach up the hair to a pale yellow. Then put on a toner to achieve the desired shade or effect. So in time by your over washing or not using the correct care products. The pigments delivered by the tone are washed out of the hair allowing the yellow pigments of the pre bleached hair to show.
