Why Does My Natural Curly Hair Look Like A Triangle?
The triangle look on naturally curly hair is flat at the roots yet very full and wide through the ends.
If your hair has a triangular shape it must be one length. Generally somewhere between chin length and shoulder length.
This is due to the absence of any layering. By having rounded layers that are blunt cut put into the lower area of your hair length. You will be able to reduce this triangular effect.
Texturing this hair can in fact in the long term make your hair look wider.

Start off by shampooing and conditioning your hair with a smoothing shampoo and conditioner. These contain plant fibers which will help to loosen your curls. As well as ingredients like tapioca starch to protect your hair from humidity.
Section your hair and blow dry each section with a paddle brush.
Brushing each section from the roots round towards one side of the head. Concentrating the dryer heat at the roots. With the hair dryer nozzle pointing down the hair shaft.
Then reverse and brush your hair the opposite way again concentrating on the root area. This will then straighten the root area of your hair.
